  • Can't Find Jeans That Cover Your Stomach?
It's easier to find cute baggy overalls than it is to find jeans that aren't low. So think about looking for overalls or a jumpsuit of some type.
Jen Magazine has released a list of Fashion Fixes for Modest Mormon Teens. My personal favorte? The ModesTee.

  • 20Q.net: a Twenty Questions game that's been around the net for a while, but never the less, is still quite awesome. So far it has managed to guess "elf" of all things, but not get "baseball bat". (it asks for demographic info, but you don't need to enter antything, just hit Play.
  • Imagine the joy that you can bring to your children's lives with a 5Ft Usb Cable. When they see their friends, they'll say with pride, "I have a 5Ft Usb Cable. Don't you wish you had a 5Ft Usb Cable?" A neighborhood craze for 5Ft Usb Cable would ensue, and you could relax knowing you started the 5Ft Usb Cable revolution.
  • I mentioned my flickr account and photoblog last time. What i didn't mention was the li'l flickr badge I have in the sidebar of this here weblog. Nothin spectacular, just a li'l square thumbnail on one of my pics at random.

  • And finally: This man hates your weblog.

Links and Things

  • The Pac-Man Cafe in Orlando, FL. (photo). An entire resaurant/arcade dedicated to the yellow guy himself. On one hand, just the thought of it is cool. On the Other hand, it's kind of sad: like JC Herz mentioned in Joystick Nation, there's something very sad about finding something from your childhood that you experienzed in a very raw fashion... sticky unwashed cabinets, the faint scent of cigarettes and beer in some dark, isolated back room... and seeing it so.. primped-up, family friendly, and safe.

But that's not why I'm posting about it here. This is. The cafe's menu. Scroll down a couple pages and you'll see what I'm talking about: Custom-Shaped Pac-Man Pizzas.

    Custom-Shaped Pac-Man Pizzas.

In other words, pizzas we already took took a slice out of.
  • George W. and Ralph Nader are equally hot with Kerry pulling a relatively distant third, according to this extremely scientific poll.
  • If you haven't seen "Badgers" Yet, go here. Once you've explored Weebls-stuff, wait a week or so to reccouperate and then go see what's eroding at my santity lately: Bananaphone.
  • Finally, I've got me a new photoblog. I just finished off posting a bunch of pics from my Choir Tour to England back in 2000. New pics'll be a little sparce for a while, as everything's hosted on flickr, and while I love flickr will all my heart and soul they only give you 10MB of upload bandwidth a month. Annoying, but it's better than 10MB of diskspace.

A girl phoned me the other day and said... Come on over, there's nobody home. I went over. Nobody was home.

I might even post more than once this month.

I was reading the (often humourous) Arcata Eye Police Log today and something in the most recent post struck me as (unintentionally) funny:

8:09 p.m. A different woman happened upon what looked like her stolen bicycle locked up outside an I Street store. She tried the combination on the lock, and it unlocked. Police determined that it was indeed her bike.
While I do appreciate the fact that the thief didn't think to change the bike-lock before going on their daily errands, the fact that the thief used a lock at all cracks me up.

The log doesn't mention anyone getting questioned or arrested, so I assume the cops just let the lady take her bike back and left... So I wonder: When the Thief came out of that store on I street and noticed that the illegally-acquired transportation was gone, do you think they said to themself "Someone just stole my bike?"
